DESCRIPTION:Theme: Presenting Research to Different Audiences \nLocation: Crowne Plaza, Beirut, Lebanon   \nDate: June 18, 2025   \nLanguages: English and Arabic (live interpretation available)  \nCovers: Transportation with Lebanon and catering during the time of the event \n \nThe CLS Knowledge Collective invites applications to participate in a one-day networking and capacity-building event in Beirut. This call is open to researchers in the social sciences and humanities. In this workshop, we will explore how to adapt and refine research communication for different audiences, with a focus on three key areas: \n1.      Interdisciplinary academic audiences \n2.      Policy makers \n3.      Development and humanitarian sector professionals \nParticipants will have the opportunity to present their research and receive constructive feedback from peers and mentors. This includes senior scholars and experts from the policy and development fields who will be present to offer sector-specific insights and tips on how to effectively communicate academic work in different settings.
