About the Project
Manhajna is a sub-project in collaboration with Inspiration Gardens, part of the Curriculum Reform, that includes a number of activities designed, led and implemented by over 1,100 teachers from across Lebanon.
Through Manhajna we conducted national consultations in eight Lebanese governorates to ask educators, civil society representatives, policy makers and students about:
- The meaning of the curricula
- Purpose of education
- Values within the education system
- Characteristics of educators who can make positive change.
The national consultations were conducted in July and August 2021. Based on the main findings from the national consultations, eight educators, who are leaders in their communities, will conduct campaigns to push for curriculum reform. These campaigns will be implemented in February and March 2022.
