CLS visiting fellowships are offered for PhD holders and PhD candidates in the humanities and social sciences with focus on Education.
The period of research must commence in March 2023 and must be completed by March 2024.
The visiting fellowships are available for PhD holders and PhD candidates to enable them to cover their costs including primary research, surveys, pilot projects, networking, lectures, and work on publications derived from their thesis or research.
Selected fellows will be offered a research grant of 8,000 GBP. In the proposal they are also expected to submit a budget on how they will spend it.
CLS requires that selected candidates follow the code of ethics for field research. If not already granted, ethics application and approval must be put in process and are prerequisites for consideration.

- A two-page proposal listing their area of research, study objectives, research methodology, budget breakdown, timeline, and the phase at which their research currently is.
- A work plan
- Two outputs (publication, public events, webinars…)
