Regional Forced Migration Training in Kenya
Organized by the Peace Institute at Moi University, under the leadership of the Institute’s Director, Dulo Nyaoro, the Regional Forced Migration Training offered a week-long intensive introduction to refugee and forced displacement issues to a select group of scholars, practitioners and policymakers from Kenya, along with representatives of LERRN’s Working Groups in Tanzania, Lebanon and Jordan and other LERRN partners. This represented an exceptional opportunity for civil society actors from major refugee-hosting states in the global South to share experiences.
A very special thank you to Dulo for his leadership, along with LERRN partners who gave presentations during the week-long training, including: Jeff Crisp, Oroub El-Abed, Jo Kelcy, Magnus Manhart, Janemary Ruhundwa and Pascal Zigishane.
