World Refugee Day
World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20th. A week-long activities to place refugee issues on the map is often organised around the Refugee Day.
This year, the Centre for Lebanese Studies ( in Amman and Beirut) and its partner the Centre for Development and Emergency Practice are marking the day with a series of events during the week of 19th June until 26th June 2021 that emerge out of our research programme titled “From education to employment? Trajectories of young people in protracted displacement in Jordan and Lebanon.”
