
Postdoctoral Researcher
Alexandra holds a PhD in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her doctoral thesis entitled “The right to exist: anti-sectarian mobilizations in post-war Lebanon" examines the development and reconfigurations of the post-war anti-sectarian movement in Lebanon. Alexandra’s primary areas of research focus are social movements, religion, secularism and migration. She also has substantial experience conducting participatory research with children and youth and has worked on a number of education projects with UN agencies and NGOS.
