Projects Coordinator
Maysa Achkar is a Project Coordinator at the Centre for Lebanese Studies (CLS). She has joined CLS since 2017. Maysa coordinates and plans with project managers on multiple activities throughout the duration of the grant. Also, Maysa is currently coordinating the activities of both the Curriculum Conference and the Disability Under Siege projects. She has received in 2016 a master’s degree in Events Management from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom, with a thesis entitled “An Investigation on the Asian Migrant Labourer Exploitation in Qatar: A Case Study of FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar”.
Maysa has earned in 2007 a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Lebanese American University. She has worked in the industry for 7 years and 6 months with the Intercontinental Hotels Group Chain, specifically Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites Hotels, in both Front Desk and Banquet Sales Department handling corporate events.
