
Junior Researcher
Samar Nasser is a junior researcher at CLS her research focuses on distance education modalities to support teachers working in complex crises.
She received her Master’s in research of science in education at Saint Joseph University of Beirut with interest in advanced educational, methodological, and reflexive methods. She is now pursuing her passion in the research field with a new Master’s in research in educational technology. Through this, she developed knowledge in instructional design for face-to-face, distance, and blended learning styles, and created a MOOC entitled Méthodologie efficace pour Apprendre le Français.
Samar has broad experience teaching language for over 15 years. She has worked on different distance learning and teaching practice projects on problem-solving approaches and project-based learning in formal and informal schools. She was also a mentor in two MOOCs organised by CLS and UCL, with other partners. Samar has co-authored a French booklet for Gr.9 that enhances second language acquisition.
