Hiba earned her PhD through a collaborate program in psychological sciences and education offered by the Lebanese University (LU) and the Free University of Brussels (ULB).
As head of department, she established the speech therapy program and developed the curricula at the Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL). Over the last 22 years, Hiba’s experience includes teaching and research supervision in the speech therapy departments at LU and IUL. She developed supervisory and mentoring skills for students as well as trainees while being a lecturer and training supervisor at the Lebanese University. She is currently the principal investigator of several research projects for under and postgraduate students in the field of childhood development.
As a consultant at her therapeutic center “Sama polyclinic”, she performed diagnosis, treatment and parental guidance in the areas of oral language and communication disorders.
