Dr. Rima Bahous

Rima Bahous is an Associate Professor of Education with an emphasis in applied linguistics and TESOL at the Lebanese American University (LAU). She is also Chairperson of the Department of Education, and the Director of LAU’s Teacher Training Institute. She has been involved in teacher training (K to 12 as well as university teachers) locally, regionally and internationally for more than 20 years. She has presented at regional and international conferences and published in international referred journals. Her main research interests are in the field of second language teacher education, continuous professional development for teachers, and assessment.

د. ريما بحوص

ريما بحوص هي أستاذة مشاركة في كلية التربية – التركيز في اللغويات التطبيقية و TESOL في الجامعة اللبنانية الأمريكية (LAU). وهي أيضًا رئيسة قسم التربية والتعليم، ومديرة معهد تدريب المعلمين في الجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية. شاركت في تدريب المعلمين (من الحضانة إلى الثانوي بالإضافة إلى المعلمين في الجامعات) محليًا وإقليميًا ودوليًا لأكثر من عشرين عامًا. كما شاركت في مؤتمرات إقليمية ودولية ونشرت في مجلات دولية محكّمة. وتتركز اهتماماتها البحثية الرئيسية في مجال تعليم معلمي اللغة الثانية، والتطوير المهني المستمر للمعلمين، والتقييم.
