Mr. Siegman is Senior Fellow and Director of the US-Middle East Center at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. He is a leading expert on the Middle East, Arab-Israeli relations and US Middle East policy. He was previously Executive Director of the American Jewish Congress from 1978-1994. He is a frequent contributor to the New York Times, the Washington Post, the International Herald Tribune, Al-Hayat, Al-Ahram, the Nation and the Jerusalem Post.
