Educators for Change

Based on participatory research with Lebanese and refugee teachers in 2018-2019 we created a MOOC under the title: educators for change focusing on the active agency of teachers and how teachers can build inclusive and quality education programmes and opportunities for marginalized learners. Additionally, the MOOC focused on education programme design and the wider social and cultural roles of teachers in contexts of mass displacement.
Based on this MOOC we created a 16-week module for 25 teachers who attended face-to-face training workshops to bridge their skills and experiences and create a professional network particularly for teachers who do not have access to formal teacher professional development.
