Research Committee

In its long tradition since 1984, CLS’ Research Committee has benefited from highly distinguished members including the late Albert Hourani, Professor Eugene Rogan and Professor Roger Owen. As the Centre’s work and efforts to support academics working on Lebanon are growing in the Middle East region and the UK, we are pleased to announce the new research committee which includes esteemed academics in various fields of study that are amongst the priority areas of the Centre. The Committee members are highly accomplished, impartial, and independent scholars with a strong reputation for integrity, creativity, and thoughtfulness. They guide in setting the Centre’s research priorities, inform our strategy, support our mission, and select CLS fellows.
