Dalia Salaam Rishani is a publisher, educational ambassador and philanthropist. Throughout her professional career, Dalia has been involved in three main areas: education, advocacy and philanthropy. She established, together with an Oxford graduate friend, Hood Hood Books, an independent publishing house in London. Alongside her publishing work, Dalia has been actively involved for over 25 years in scholarships. As a Middle East specialist, Dalia has been continually engaged in Advocacy in that region. Today, the lion’s share of Dalia’s interests is in helping and promoting students from the Middle East to get the best education that they can get in the best universities in the West. She hopes that these leader students will return to their native homelands and help in the reconstruction of their countries.
