Doctor of Educational Sciences and President of the Contractual Teachers’ League in Lebanese Primary Public Schools

Dr. Nisrine Chahine is a university lecturer in Educational Sciences with 18 years of professional experience across pre-university and vocational education. She is a social researcher specialised in educational and labour union affairs. She is a published author of research studies and articles addressing educational and social issues. She has also recently co-authored the book titled The Road to Mental Health, with Professor Ghassan Yaacoub.

Dr. Chahine also acts as a⁠ union leader. She is the Founder and President of the Contractual Teachers’ League in Lebanese Primary Public Schools (CTLP). She has⁠ led and organised dozens of movements and sit-ins within the official education sector. She also⁠ organises workshops and delivers union training programs, in partnership with local, regional, and international entities. Dr. Chahine is a recognised keynote speaker and expert contributor at forums, seminars, and conferences dedicated to education and union policy.
