Joumana Assaf has been a secondary education teacher since 1997-1998, and since then, she has been teaching science subjects. She holds a master’s and a doctorate in chemistry from France, in addition to numerous certificates in the field of education from the Lebanese University and the American University of Beirut. She is a researcher at the Environmental Sciences Laboratory (PRASE) at the Doctoral Higher Institute of Science and Technology (EDST) – Lebanese University. As a data analyst, she is proficient in using SPSS and R software. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, which can be found in her e-profile on Scopus, Web of Science, and ORCID. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for research in various international education journals, including, the International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning Journal (IRRODL), E-Learning and Digital Media journal, and Contemporary Educational Technology. Her passion for teaching and writing brings her immense joy as she shares her knowledge and contributes to driving change in education.
