Dr. Rachel Saliba is an emerging scholar and practitioner in the field of organizational leadership whose work bridges academic research, gender equity, and social transformation in crisis-affected contexts. She earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University (USA), where her dissertation, “Liberated to Lead: A Narrative Study of Defining Moments in the Professional Leadership Development of Lebanese Women,” examined the lived experiences and leadership trajectories of women navigating systemic barriers in Lebanon. Her research offers original contributions to leadership studies by illuminating how leadership identities are shaped through personal, social, and cultural turning points. Her interdisciplinary expertise is supported by an MBA in Project and Operations Management and a BA in Advertising and Marketing from Notre Dame University in Lebanon.
She is currently a senior researcher at the Centre for Lebanese Studies, leading the MENA GPE KIX project on education systems resilience and assisting in the 6-year ERICC (Education Research in Conflict and Protracted Crisis) FCDO-funded programme.
